Symbol for Peace
"The One of Now" Project is calling upon the global arts community and donors to help reinvent the “Peace” symbol for these interesting times. A new symbol for peace created not in the context of “War”, but rather what truly is the essence of peace …the “Spirit”. The endowment hopes to offer a spiritual journey for artists and spectators to explore this deeply elusive and profound idea of “Peace”. The Inner and outer manifestation of spirit on a massive scale, may be the secret to “World Peace”.
There have been various works of art adopted to represent “Peace”, but perhaps the most popular of them all in pop culture is that of Gerald Holtom’s 1958 logo inspired by Nuclear Disarmament. However, the time is now for a representation of peace that includes a new generation of activists and supporters for the modern digital age.
"Symbol for Peace" submissions will be open to amateur & professional entries from around the globe. Finalists will all receive cash and other prizes. Art will be judged by a host of panelists that include; Artist of every disciple including Street Art, Graphic Designers, Art Critics, Agency Executives, along with Spiritual Experts.
